Shooting a Shotgun in city limit?

My friend just got a shotgun for his birthday and my buddies and i really wanna shoot something with it. The gun range isnt open till tomorrow and weve been debating shooting something in our basement. One of my friends ademently belives this is illegal.

So my question is NS legal experts "laugh" can you legally discharge a firearm inside the city limits of boulder colorado?
 
any sort of firearm discharging thats not in a gun range in boulder is illegal. my cousin worked at a gun shop in boulder a while ago.
 
theres a cool skate video by thrasher called shotgun, they like shoot all sorts of shit with a shotgun its pretty cool,

And why would you shoot a shotgun in your house that just sounds stupid. Drive out to some woods if you really want to shoot shit up.
 
u honestly cant wait one day? i mean you could get in serious trouble here and its not like a week its one day and im sure ur day is half over by now anyway
 
Do not do it. My buddy and I got bitched at the other day for firing a .22 rifle off in the middle of the woods in fucknowhereseville Colorado. Even though we did nothing illegal, we still got bitched at for 30 min about shooting a rifle.
 
shooting a shotgun in your basement is one of the dumbest idea's i've heard around here for a while.

haha first off, shooting a shotgun indoors will turn out very, very bad. And I would just wait to shoot the gun because the possible penalties are not at all worth it.
