ShoGuns vs. Watea

For the end of the season sales, i'm lookin into some new skis. What do you guys think of the ShoGun's or Watea 98/114? I've been looking into a slightly rockered twintip ski with traditional camber but around 100-110 under foot. Whole goal is to be able to farm kung pow, stomp cliffs and backcountry kickers, ski switch and lay down trenches on the groomers. Asking a lot from a ski, but are there any other ski's like this? I've seen the Opus and gotama which are both sick skis but sound a little too buttery, could be wrong though. Cochise? Help me out NS!

Shoguns are a pretty boring ski, not very lively or jibby at all. Wateas are really underrated skis (I tour on the 101) but not jib skis at all.

A Kung Fujas model might work, or Atomic Blog (if you're light).

Thanks guys for all the recommendations. for the on3p and liberty helix, are they chattery at high speeds in crud and harder snow? Do the liberties have camber underfoot or are they more zero camber?

They have camber underfoot and standard tail camber too - just rocker in the tip. At high speed they are not too chattery - surprisingly good for a powder ski.

Gotama, buttery? Have you flexed a pair? They're pretty damn stiff.

I'd definitely go Shoguns over Wateas.

i have a pair of atomic blogs. while the name is stupid, the skis rock. 110mm underfoot, slight rocker in the tip and tail, camber underfoot. pretty light for it's size ( i rode the 185s). had a ton of fun on those skis this year!
