Shock absorbing pole

thats right! I got some! I brought my pole home to put on a basket cuz I broke mine and forgot it at home. so I had to take an old pair from the instructor's local and I found old white poles at least 25 years old with a suspention. I took off the handle and there is a spring mechanism and everything. it has about 2 inches of travel. Ill post pics after the holidays.

those will suck. i thought the carbons i bought would be sweet cuz they flex but really they were just a $40 waste because they are garbo when you try to push on flats.

actually they do not really flex all that much when you make sure to focus the pressure straight down the shaft.

i want aluminum poles though, its more for the sound, look than the feel.

ya i have carbon poles and there the best poles ive ever had, there never bend at all.

those would suck, a ski pole is to set up your timing when turining and to push off of to gain speed. What the hell do you need shocks on that for?
