Shlould I take this class?

well there's this class i can take next year called video communications, and its pretty much learning about cameras and editing and stuff. i really want to get into taking video and editing and stuff, but idk if i'd be better just to learn on my own. i also don't wanna get stuck with some losers who are like typical "geeks" cause i wanna do this to edit ski stuff.

do it, you said you wanna get into video editing, if its anything like the class im in it will be fun, there will be a few nerds who just wanna learn how to make their myspace website go faster but you can get really good at editing and make a dope movie

Hell yeah, go for it. What do you have to lose? An editing class will be a better elective than say....calculus?

I took 2 classes over the summer at a private school with a ton a of geeks (i guess I'm one too but w/e) it was alittle awkward but I learned alot. I got to use FCP and a green screen overall it was pretty cool.
