Has anyone else just had a plain terrible winter? I have skied a lot but it has just not snowed and been incredibly warm all winter long. Don't get me wrong, its still great but this winter is below average.
 
man we have had some great snow over here in the kootenays we have had good luck though because it seems to me that alot of hills are struggling
 
i don't know what you're talking about, where do you live, cause the pacific northwest is amazing this year after a year that set records for terribleness last year.

almost no snow and the snow ive been skiing on is man made for the most part

but sr has the best snow right now, maybe sugarloaf 2 though
 
its been a pretty sick winter here. my mountain had probably the best opening day in 20 years. its warming up now which sucks though
 
Yes I have had a bad winter... TWO fuckin pow days, shitty snow not to mention that we have like 2 feet of snow TOTAL on our mountain, and the past years it's been dumping..average of about 2 meters deep on the slopes and countless good pow days... so I regred not buying STLs..
 
my winter started out super early, and looked really promising. but it all turned to shit. oh well, spring break and ski vacations are only a couple of weeks away!
 
if u live in the midwest or east coast...it was horrible..i myself live in the midwest an all winter we prolly got about 4 or 5 inches TOTAL
 
It hasn't been the prettiest winter here in Ontario, but the skiing's been just fine. There has always been a base no matter what hill I'm at and I really can't complain, it's like calling last chair, as soon as I bitch about the weather, It'll be spring....
 
its snowing here at the moment. in an hour it snowed 5-10cm.

the only bad part is that i have the flu.
 
This past weekend was one of about 3 weekends that I skied on anything close to powder. (like 6" of it =( )
 
this year i have skiied the most and wanted to do bc and powder runs a ton but it never happened ot east. the winter has been ok so far, i mean places like sunday river have 100 trails open but the snow its mostly harpacked ice.
 
For east cost there wasnt much for powder days but the regular riding and park hasnt been to bad, spring conditions half the winter cant complain to much
 
yeah, my season has kinda sucked. Half my trips get cancelled, I miss the ONLY good storm that gives us a good amount of snow. All I have skied this year is decent to shitty parks. If I wasn't going to colorado thursday, I'd kill myself.
