just heard this standup bit from george carlin, by far one of the smartest things i've heard these days

George Carlin does a lot of stuff like that. I don't necessarily agree with him because presidential candidates are in no way the public, they're bred for the job. but local politicians are definitely the public.
 
george carlin is the man, he speaks some harsh truth. I like his bits on religion and abortion in particular.
