Shitty jobs

post shitty jobs here, arn't all jobs shitty, I find that the ones I have always suck.

I work at the pepperclub(making salad, in portland, ME), and I work at cinemagic(in westbrook), I really hate the 7 managers at cinemagic, because when I fuck up, I have seven people yelling at me( sound familiar?, Office Space).

i worked for a Polo outlet store in high school.....man that fucking blew. Folding things to the perfect standard and listening to old fucks tell you what to do is the worst. oh and getting paid next to nothing while having to dress up for work and deal with stuck up fuckfaces wasn't fun either. on the plus i worked with some awesome friends so that made it more tolerable.

I dish washed for a bit my sr year of high school, it sucked. I also worked fast food for almost a year when i was 16, that also really sucked. I haven't had a shitty job for awhile tho, valet was definitely not shitty.

Ticket scanner at the hill. Boring as fuck standing in the cold doing the same thing over and over again hearing the same shit over and over again and being within view of the park so i could just watch and want to cry.

worked the summer after senior year as a electrical apprentice doing bitch work and climbing in small places and getting electrocuted. it was good money but only cause i put in like 75 hours a week.

i worked on a farm for a couple days bailing hay to make some money and it was fucking rediculous, spiders and snakes under like every bale of hay, you have to load up a tractor while its moving then bring it back to this huge barn and stack each bale to the roof which is like 30 feet, not to mention all the dust and shit in the air made me feel like i had asthma for a week straight

Hahahahaha for some reason that one statement made me laugh so hard, +k in my eyes just because of how much I laughed

i mowed lawns for the summer. it wasn't really shitty. i got paid really well and could eat whenever and just sat and listened to music when we were driving around in his truck. but when you're near the end of the day, you just sick of hearing lawnmowers and smelling like grass/dirt/exhaust

office depot sucks. all i do is sit at the front counter and listen to old people bitch and moan about not have the color cartridge they want

Tree work sucks. Like ten or eleven hours days, hot as all hell in the summer, and you always have to be paying attention or else a climber will drop shit on your head, pays pretty well though.

i worked in a physical therapy office for a summer when i was 18. Worst job ive had by far, and i've worked at maybe 6 different jobs now? All I did was clean the equipment and i hated all my bitchy coworkers, plus all the customers were old and i was always bored as shit, and i think i only got like $8 an hour. Wow that job fucking sucked... i was so happy when i was done there

caddying is rough, being someone's bitch for 4-5 hours, and its 100 degrees out, and ur carrying 2 golf bags, always gotta pay attention to where the golf ball is, or else ur fucked....but it pays amazingly

washing dishes is an easy-ass job and if you do all kinds of extra shit you end up being indispensible. The pay does really suck though and it's dirty.

i was a tim hortons bitch , basically making coffee all day and dealing with people who hadnt had any coffee

I think who you work with really makes or breaks a job experience.

Two summers ago I worked with the golf carts at a country club, which is easy, but I hated the people I worked with so it was my shittiest job.

This past summer I painted houses about 60 hours a week (when it didn't rain) but I really liked the people I worked with so it wasn't all that bad.

i used to be a busboy at Earls. i wouldn't call it shit per se, but the pay was definitely on the low end of the scale (minimum wage). not to mention the managers at this particular restaurant only divided up tips between the waiters, the cooks, the hostesses, and the management, which means i wasn't getting shit (unless the waitresses or hostesses were feeling nice and snuck me a twenty from time to time). the people there were pretty awesome, but the pay was crap. i would only reccomend working at a restaurant if you don't have a lot of other choices.

Yes... I was more stressed out working there than on a fishing boat in alaska i would have much rather taken the boat for the whole summer!

fishing in alaska = hella fun/amazing

ive been doing it for a few years (in bristol bay, prince william sound, sand point, southeast, cook inlet) and i love it.

its basically the best job ever. definitely not a shitty job but i thought i would share

Copelands Sports when they went bankrupt during the holiday season, and I had every closing shift which meant I got to clean up the store for 3 hours after closing and get home at 1 am, Sucked major donkey dick

actually, I like making salads, it is 9 dollars an hour+ tips, I shouldnt be bitching, but anyone who isnt a waiter/waitress at a restraunt, hates the waiter/waitresses, because they always ask you to do shit!, that isnt your job when you have a mountain of shit to do, I used to dish wash at this same place, 9 dollars per hour, +tips, but I usually puked because of the food and the smell.

or, in the back, the x-rated version of porn. but it doesn't change the fact that i would have been making more money working at Wendys.

meh all i can say is just suck it up and do it...jobs at this age are supposed to suck so you get motivated to go to college and not spend the rest of your life in a shitty job...and enable your self to go out and pursue something you do like.

are you serious? i did hvac (Heating and ac) over the summer, and that sucked ass, i had to work from 7:30 in the morning to about 6 at night, often about 10-11 hour days, in the heat, and i had to go into trailerpark crawlspaces luckily only once, but the fiberglass insulation sucked, and a couple times i worked from 7:30a.m.-10:30p.m. i would finish a job at 3:00 and then they would send me to another. i had a couple of cool people to work with, and even though they said rooftop jobs suck, i thought they were cool, because it was the only time i was gauranteed a short day, and i got to work with the crane operator, whom i knew as a substitute from my school. but towards the end of summer i had to work with a guy whom i absolutely hated, because he made jobs more complex than they had to be, and we would have to wait at the job because he needed extra shit to be made. i was with this guy on an attic job and i fell through this families cealing (sorry cant spell that) and that sucked, because i thought that i was going to have to give up all my earnings to pay for it, but the companies insurance did so i was good for that. the summer before i worked at a golf course and hated not having enough hours, but this summer i had too many.

overall it was good though i met some cool people, and definately plan on attending college now.
