has anyone heard about those $100 laptops that MIT is developing for poor kids in africa. Its got like 500 mhz and 1 gigabyte of memory. It also has a hand crank for power.

i suggest looking on www.craigslist.com if you live near a big city. i always find cheap old computers and stuff, and people are always giving away free monitors and stuff.
