What is the deal with MSP? They really don't seem to get it. Every year the cinematography gets sicker, yet the music destroys the overall vibe of the movie. The Hit List had maybe one good song (the ROOTs track).

I take that back. The movie was overall very unimaginative and stale. What happened to the days of Deltron and Swollen Members, or a little AFI? I knew MSP had sold out when they took Daaron Rahlves up to AK. This isn't a thread about that, either. I know Rhalves can shred, but when they busted out the RED BULL slalom gates on an AK peak I thought I was in a Warren Miller movie.

Agreed. It was gay. The music made me want to tattoo "Metal Mullisha" across my neck, shave my head, pierce my eyebrow, and go jump my 2 cycle off a huge metal ramp.

Hitlist was the most inconsistent, most unorigial movie to date from MSP.
 
Come on now... it was bad, but surely you agree Yearbook was even worse.
 
yeah i was dissapointed. the music was harsh redneck and there was so much slo-mo big mountain skiing you wanted to stab your eyeballs out. there was like 3 rails in the whole 70 minute movie. they also gave pep the shittiest part known to mankind.

focused had the best soundtrack, not many movies beat that soundtrack..but the other ski movie soundtracks sucks
 
yearbook wasnt a ski movie, it was shane skiing of cliffs, im sorry but once you see it one time, it doesnt really change the 900th time i see it
 
At least they limited the base jumping. But you guys are all just too young. Try out some other kinds of music besides hip hop.....but say no to country.
 
Agreed. Yearbook had easily the shittiest soundtrack of all time. I think that is something we can all agree on.
 
now i think youre all fucking stereotypical fucks who dont know a good movie when you see one. MSP has by far the best cinemetagrophy out there. All the music and everything these days is "gangsta", which i dont hate, but jsut because they wanted to try a little bit different music doesnt mean the movie sucks. i personnally thought the music was great. the adddition of rjd2 and citizen cope is great, and i think that music really defines alot of the movie. Just youre all obsessed with "soul-park" and none of the big mountain shit doesnt mean you have to trash on works of art.
 
btw... if you think that rock is hard then youre a fucking pussy

i want you to name the hardest rock song in that movie, cause honestly i cant find one thats "hard rock" (ie screaming, headbanging, etc.)
 
you kinda have to give them a break since they have to satisfy lots of people, but I agree these last 2 movies have been on the wrong side of things. we don't need another warren miller and a bunch of posers cheering when someone drops a 3 foot cliff to radiohead.
