im all for 'constructive critism' but the fact is that most of the kids on this site post shitty videos and deserve to have people being ass holes at them. people bitching about people doing that just makes me wanna be a bigger ass hole to them. post a well edited movie with good tricks and good music and ill say its sick but otherwise shut the fuck up

Being out there skiing every day, good or bad, just playing around with friends, with no contests or filming- that is the real spirit of skiing for me. that is why i started skiing, and if i lose those moments that is what will make me stop skiing.

i agree with you 100%, i posted a video of me doing a trap rail that scared the shit out of me, and i had a few other videos that got hated on bigtime. its my 2nd year really focusing on freeskiing, and it was a good year for me, cuz i stopped screwing around, and got serious. i posted videos that i thought were good, cuz im getting to be one of the better kids at my local mountain, and they got shot to shit in 3 posts. all the stuff i was doing in the videos scared the piss out of me when i was doing it, but kids on here make me seem like a pussy. so, i just deleted all my videos. also, i edited some clips from sasfilms, and i got hated on for yanking clips, when in fact, i asked neil if he'd mind, and properly credited the riders, and filmmakers. neil not only said it was ok, but he encouraged it. to all the shittalkers out there, im sorry, but the rest of us cant be as good as you. unless your shittalking is a defense mechanism for being really ashamed at skiing, and that in turn makes you look like an even bigger idiot.

when I first got there there were only few shittalkers and it was fun like people were actualy kinda of appericating them and it was all great. Now it think that it pretty much sucks. I just look at my post number in like 5 months I got over 1000 post now I'M at like 2000something after 2 years I think. well yeah, with all that said, i just think i agree with you, but then again you're maybe taking it too serious. it's my favourite site too and i know people that have been dissin it for the same reasons. however, it's the internet, any dolt could log on to ns and you can't fight stupidity. just dont get so much into it, the real people are real, assholes remain assholes, so its up to you in the end, you dont have to talk to them dipshits.

Sure there's too much shit-talking on NS, but the beauty is that at least people have a chance to say something.

In the ski industry, if you're reading a magazine, and you see something that makes you say "that's fucking bullshit" you have no choice but to agree with the editors. Who can be incredibly out of touch.

At least on NS you've got a chance to voice your opinion.
