So I live in Newark, NJ right now, and its going to hell right now. 10 days ago they laid off like 150 police officers, and we've had such a huge increase in violent crimes the national guard is now patrolling the city. I've seen 3 choppers with spotlights pass by in the past hour. Sirens like crazy. Kinda scary considering the riots that have occured here in the past. At least I hopefully get to ski for the first time this winter on saturday ( given I dont get carjacked ). Just a rant since I'm obviously not going out tonight haha.

I would trade the natural beauty of Texas for the shit hole that is a large portion of NJ. In a heartbeat. Mountain biking the Texas hill country isn't that bad of an option at all.
