why have we never had a Edit Post feature? i remember we talked about it back in the day, but it seemed everyone was against it? why? maybe it might be reconsidered now that NS is rollin?
 
meh...too many things can be changed and manipulated. A preview button might be nice or something. Faunt Got Bigger wouldve never happened.
 
or threads you make? say, a for sale thread? i dont know, i hate double posting so i usually leave something out until i have to bump again and it pisses me off.
 
editing posts is annoying. On a forum for one of my classes kids would always ask questions then delete them once they got it answered. I would always be super pumped when I'd see the thread with the same question I had but then the diptards would have changed the post to say "Nevermind, I have the answer" so noone would answer it and I got fucked. Plus it makes people pay for being idiots and not thinking before they post.

 
No. It eliminates accountability. A preview feature is all you ever need, just read before you submit and you won't have any issues. Besides, the lack of an edit feature helps make NS what it is, its responmsable for tons of legendary threads. Faunt anybody?
 
for the edit thing, have a lil thing at the top of the post that says "the following post has been edited" or something like that. this way, people cant say shit, edit their post and claim it never happened. they have it in another forum im on and it works really well.
