Shit, 1660 guests online!

we should make a thread in each catgeory telling all the guests looking at the thread to make accounts
 
thats a pretty dumb thing to say, every member on here was a newb at one time and if there isnt any new members coming in the site would slowly die
 
i guess but ns wouldn't die if 1500 people didn't join man, prolly some of them have an account either way. theres just so much hating on noobs, thats why i said it.
 
I suspose, but lets not forget that ns is surviving parcially, if not mainly by sponsors(aka company ads) and the more members and the more guests that come on means more people seeing the sponsor icons/links and the banners which are also links. Those links all lead to their sites where you can buy their products, so the more people that are on here means more that ns can charge for the ads, which means more money for them to run the site and to live. They gota make some cash too
 
im sure some of those guests are members being too lazy to sign on. I know I do that alot. but 1660... thats a shitload, server error or something idk.

damn, can it be because users get logged off and since theyre still on ns they count as guests?
 
ya there shouldn't be a guest log in because there are more people that just use the guest log in all the time, then there are members. that just is not right
 
holy crap. I've never seen that many... for some reason within the last week i've noticed and have been aggrivated by noobs offten. maybe its just me.
 
I'm pretttyy sure its because you can only be considered "online" NS for 30 minutes before you are automatically logged off. therefore you are not online but still connected to NS so they consider you a guest
