Shipping Skis

i just sent a pair of EPs for 21 bucks with tracking via USPS and a pair of maidan AKs to BC (from IL) for 40 with tracking with USPS. I take a huge piece of cardboard and basically wrap the skis up and tape the shit outta the 'box'. With USPS the height+width+depth cant exceed 108inches others wise you will be subject to a taxing tax.

ive shipped a few pairs of skis in my day, it cost me $23 - Michigan - Utah, $17 - Michigan - New York, $21 - Michigan - Colorado

All through USPS, its the cheapest way, UPS is way expensive. I always reccomend tracking for expensive items. Its only 80 cents

i make my own boxes. if you are shipping without bindings i grab some thin foam or an old shirt and stick it between the skis. tape the skis together one on top of the other and then wrap em in cardboard. it's usually like 30-40 when i ship skis. whatever you do pack the box with lots of newspaper or something to keep those skis from bouncing around. it sucks to get something and have it be all beat up because the seller didn't package it well.
