Hey how much would it cost to ship skis to canada i mean i was looking to ship to Quebec and its was around 100 dollars on UPS

Is it really that much

Unless you go USPS / Canada Post / expedited (or the other more expensive options), you're gonna get hit with brokerage fees, and it sucks.

You could get around the fees by declaring under $20 or by stating they're warranty/replacements (which I read it works, as taxes/brokerage fees are waived if they're warranties).

Generally, stay away from UPS, they drain your $ like vampires on plump juicy necks.

hold on so i say there is a warranty and ill not have to pay for fees to get it to canada

and im shippping FedEx

that or declare them as $20 used skis

this is from 2004, but you get the idea http://www.stokecity.ca/FTN-FXG%20Brokerage%20Schedule%2003-01-04%20English%20Version.pdf

and yes, packages labeled as warranties/replacements are waived, cause that would mean you paid your taxes/brokerage for the original transaction, ie: you're just getting your item fixed as warranties, theres no money involved if it's a shipment for replacements.

I'd declare them $40 used skis, just to make it not look as suspicious...

or ship via USPS

If your shipping skis across the US/Canada boarder DO NOT USE FEDEX OR ANY OTHER COURIER BECAUSE THEY CHARGES BULLSHIT DUTIES OUT THE ASS

Use Canada Post/USPS with tracking for the cheapest, easiest shipping procedure. I have been fucked hardcore by FedEx/DHL with bullshit "boarder crossing fees". Sometimes they can ding you with up to 50% of the value of the product. Totally fucked...i dunno why anyone deals with them.

i have had very similar experience, so anything ebay goes through Canada Post, efficient reliable, affordable and CANADIAN

I payed 80$(duties and shipping) on top of the skis price alone when I bought from evogear. but it did come in 2 days..

yeah i got fucked by dhl once on a 80$ hoodie i had like 35 shipping plus another 35 for some shit

For those Americanos shipping ski/gear to Canada.

1. Always use USPS....UPS and others charge mad surcharges on items, and ad customs fees.

2. Always mark item as under $100 and as a gift, Customs fees rape us.

Skis cost around 30-45 bucks to ship. Location/weight permitting.
