Shipping Skis & Gear

My school (San Francisco, CA) is going on a ski trip to Tahoe (2 days for $80) in feburary and march, I need my rents to ship me my 178 AR6's, Poles, Full Tilts, outerware, and gogs. I figure I can ups the gogs and outerware, but whats the best way to ship the skis, poles, and boots?

get a ski box from your local ski shop. pack your gear in. Bring it to UPS. Ship for $20 bucks.

i think skis boots and outerwear will cost more than 20...

I shipped skis alone via UPS and it was like $25. With bindings, its definitely more.

call the sports shops around you and see if one of them will ship the skis for you. Shops generally have a deal worked out with UPS/FEDEX where it is fairly inexpensive for them to ship that stuff since it goes out with their shipments anyway. Only thing is that you wont have a tracking number or insurance on it.
