im sitting here at work...wasting time while getting paid...and i cant get this song out of my head. its called Don't Cry Out by Shiny Toy Pistols. u may say its emo but i disagree. its a bomb song. and jus to add in im an avid hip hop "enthusiast" so dont go trip out on the fact that i mentioned this band.*

*after writing this post i began to relize...that it had no point and wasnt worth the time writing/reading/comprehending
 
dammit I find a sick underground electronica band I like, then fucking Plehouse uses it, and now everyone is into it. God dammit.

and yes that song is kick ass. my favorite is Rocketship though (already taken in a movie, you vultures!)
 
Shiny Toy Guns kick ass, the best song I've heard by them is "The One". If you like them check out Alice In Videoland.
 
Joy Electric is a great stuff, I used to listen to them when I was like 13 even, they've been around a long time, still killer though, has anyone heard of 'Kill Hannah'? Listening to them now, they're pretty good.
 
Just checked out that song "dont cry out" and i fucking love it. Its something different, and really good.
 
You know, if you like a band, you should probably tell people about them so that they can get known and keep doing what they are doing, bigger and better, instead of trying to keep them quiet or whatever. In my humble opinion.
 
I saw them in Seattle with Kill Hannah. Didn't really care for Kill Hannah, but Shiny Toy Guns were awesome. We talked to them for awhile afterwards....They were entirely clueless about Canada.....
 
no because then it become the new "stairway to heaven" and it gets overplayed and overused and when I use it in a movie people are like "oh...you used THAT song....." and it takes away from my vidddss.

Imagine if TBC used a bunch of 50 cent and zeppelin, then it would suck.
