looking for some advice, i just got a set of (used) 4frnts. and the dont seem to be as shiny as on top as they should be. anyone know of any techniques or products to shine them up???
A good way to do it if you have no stickers is to take some rubbing compound and HAND BUFF (mechanical buffing will melt your topsheet) the compound in with a cloth. This will fill in the tiny scratches and shine them up. Rubbing compound is nice because it is kinda like car wax but high grade. This means it will last for awhile and it will also help repel dirt and snow will be less prone to sticking to your topsheet. You can buy it at any decent automotive store.
you know, you a real asshole. lets just put aside the fact that it says "newb" in my profile for a minute. all i was asking was simply if anyone knew of any ways to freshen up the appreance of a ski. sorry that i like for my belongings to look nice. so why do you have to hate?
i would personaly give my skis a mud bath first, then i would use a razor to scrape the excess mud off after i took a towl to it. then i would pee on them.
