Shin bash

so i went to mont st anne in Quebec for 3 days of skiing last week. they didn't have everything open, so you had to walk or crosscountry to the gondola, which took a good 5 minutes. on the third day i was dreading going skiing because of the bruises on my shins from regular skiing. i went and had a blast, but suffered. Now im going skiing with my buddies tonight to a resort, but for the past 3 days weve been hitting a nice jump near my house for 4-5 hours a day, walking up the runway bout 12 times a day. So again im dreading/debating going up tonight becuase of my major shin bash. i have solomon 1080 from last year. any solutions anyone ?

once it happens it doesn't go away for awhile. take some aleve. I sometimes cut the foot off a sock and were the rest of it over my other socks for more padding. Then crank your boots tight as they go. loose boots and landing back seat are usually why you get shin bang.
