What do you do to get rid of shin bang from your boots.

Any good tips would be very helpfull.

If it matters i have rossignol Squads but i dont think it is the boot but i could be.

1. Your boots do not fit properly.

2. You are landing backseat.

You can try to get booster straps, they do help with performance and shinbang but you may need to go check out some new boots if it is a serious problem.

it could be that your boots arent tight enough so yo shins are hitting back and forth.

ice your shins. make sure your boots tongue is pushed down onto your foot and your boots are strapped tight. if when you lean forward there is a big gap (more that a cm) tight those babies up. If problem persists, get boots that are smaller. boots should be snug up your leg, fit your arch and width of foot, and have the right flex for your want.

thicker socks will make it worse! just wear one good pair of thin socks. make sure your boots are tight enough so your shins arnt banging back and forth, and ye booster straps are worth a look at, also you might not think a footbed would help for shinbang but it can - it will lift the leg/change the angle of your shin in the boot. make sure your boots are the right size for you (this is the most important factor). even if all these things are done i sometimes find i have very painfull shins (shin splints and shin bang) when i flex forward in my boots but it always goes in about a week or so. take 2 painkillers and run some voltorol (sp) on your shins, it works wonders. hope this helps.

Those look like mouse pads that are rolled up a bit. They look pretty efficient, might as well buy some thick foam mousepads.

The "Get full tilts" responses are fucking old. You're either landing backseat or have boots that don't fit you properly. What I suggest is taking a wooden spoon and applying pressure on it while going over your tibias. It does hurt like a fucker but it will relieve your shins.

Tighten your boots to the point where it feels like no blood is going to your feet. The pain will go away once you get skiing, and this will help shin bang a lot. Most shin bang is caused by not having the boots tight enough against your shin.
