Shin bang

i got some dalbello aerro 60s and there just a little bit big for me, does anyone know of a good way to relieve shin bang. Maybe put some type of padding in them?? ( if thats vauge enough for ya)

That has nothing to do with shinbang..... u just need to get fitted properly and ull be fine.........

get some custom footbeds....... and no u dont need extra cushining..

As said above maybe try and get them custom fitted, if its loose around the calf area there is an insert that you can buy which you stick to the tongue of the boot and makes them tighter, but I cant remember who makes them though.

What your thinking of its probably the 'Eliminator Tongue'. Google it, its all over the ski shops.
Aside from that your shop could put some more foam in around the calf for you, footbeds would help, do em up real tight and see about having a booster strap fitter.Really though, if you possibly can, new well fitted boots are the answer.

working on a pair of boots that don't fit by a long shot is pointless. Spend the money and get boots that fit instead of spending money on how to get a pair of boots that don't fit work better. Much higher marginal return.

yea man new boots may be the best but like i said in the thread their only a tiny bit to big. my foots measured at a size 26 and the boots are like 27s, plus they feel really comfortable foot wise, its just a little uncomfortable on the shins when you hit a jump or rail and land switch.

Your boots are gona pack out ........ so hope that the 1 size wont fuk u over in the long run...

and ya just break in the boots and u should be good with the shin bang.... or like said before..... get fitted properly

ok none of you noobs know what the hell you are talking about. just because he gets shin bang doesnt mean his boots are too big, he probly has skinny ass chicken legs like i do so there is a space in between his shin and the tongue. shin bang has nothing to do with getting the boot fitted properly. what i did was cut up an old mouse pad, and i put the pieces in between the shell and the liner/tongue to that it was a tighter fit. i have extra pieces of the mouse pad in case i need it to be tighter of looser. the searchbar has alot of threads on shinbang but there are too many to find the helpful ones. hope this helps you

Im suffering right now from some nasty ass shin bang and im looking for some more ideas on how to prevent it~ I just bought the Agent 80's and their awesome foot wise but my leg has a lot of room to move around in~ I cant say ive ever had this problem so im just wondering if i stick some foam inbetween my shin and tounge if that will work
