Shin Bang?

So i was testing out my new skis on my floor, doing presses and butters and whatnot, but when i tailpress my calfs start to kill. It happens whenever i lean back too much, but i was just reminded of it then.

Not my shins though. Is that shin bang? I know it's kinda the same situation, but i thouhgt shin bang was pain in the shins.

Also, if this isn't shin bang, do other people get this bad?

And if i get my calfs stronger, will that make it not as bad?

Thanks

This happened to me this summer when I was at highnorth. I just iced it and felt better the next day but its not shin bang. I'm pretty sure its just from pressure on the calves.

so if it's pressure on the calves, how would it be avoided? I don't want to stop doing tailpresses and butters. It sounds the exact same as what you said.

all that means is that your boots are not properly fitted buckle them tighter or try a booster strap

booster straps, a lot of ice, massage your shin bone area too with the backside of a spoon, and rest...it never goes away, but you can make it less painful by doing that shit

Shin bang is in fact shin splints. Its where the mussle on your shins is being pulled away from the bone, and as we all know its fuckin painful!

There you can do is try to build the muscle and rest in the off season, dont go running on hard surfices, I love skipping but I cant do it any more!

What youve got is bruised muscle or tendons. Do prety much what the lady said. Maybe have a look at the hight of your boots.

But remeber the pain is just a by-product of the joy skiing gives us, dont be a homo and become a boarder lust for painless legs. ha ha ha.

Good luck.

It would be helpfull to work out your calves im sure, just stand up and down on your tippy toes. I dont no if thats shin bang tho, shinbang is from inpact.

I tried the searchbar, but this is not what i thought shin bang was, so, i made a thread.

Booster straps would really help?
