Shin bang

theres this special remedy...i cant remember whats its called...

noo i dont think thats what its called...

just take it easy for a couple days, dont ski, and you will be fine and recharged again
 
called shin splints in reality... o i know what not to do!! run track!! im a runner and i didnt realize the two overlap,, so my shinsplints got 10 times worse from running.. my shins have like huge grooves from them, its hard to put a boot on, and hard to walk... but i suck it up and ski like normal every day
 
ice/booster straps and a few days off, also wether or not you have shin bang ice after every ski day
 
Place your power strap under your cuff and right against the tongue of your boot. This will reduce the amount of space for movement. You can also try an Eliminator tongue (custom molding) or adding some padding.

Use advil as it will take down the swelling.
 
i was thinking about picking up some foam stuff from my local..joan fabrics..tetile and sowing store type a thing..

everyone at my shop said "lean forward"

they wouldnt sell me anything.

also, dont case jumps, that kills you sooo badly.

i have stress fractures in both of my feet for those reasons... they're better now, it hurts to ski like you would not beleive though.
 
i think everyone has grooves in the shins... and the only way to cure shin bang is to take a week off or sack up and pill up and go shred anyways.
