duke PT 16 feels like a mercedes G63 next to a ferrari (shift) and your about to go on a offroad run with somebody chasing you.
Kinda depends on ski as well, I got duke PT on heavier go faster skis, and I have shifts on my superlight BC120s ( and BC100) and bibby pro
I also have now got CAST for all my pivot mounted skis as I use bindingfreedom
adjustability on duke is best in class, shift on top, cast/pivot 3rd.
Lighter skiers in general has more luck on shift, I put my GF on bibby pro, 0 issues, then I put my fat friend with same tiny BSL as her on same skis, and the toes adjusted down pretty much instantly.
I still think shift is pretty cool and good, but depends on use, dont take the shift on laps through park and on resort days for main use, duke pt? yeah sure fine
