i used the search bar, nothing on it, but do u think sheet metal would work as a topsheet on a box? i mean its thin and like idk, does it work?

uhhh, I see where you are coming from, but no, it might work if you lube it up with crisco... But then again just spring for some nice plastic that will last you for a while...

yeah, if you lubed it up with something otherwise you would eat shit because it would be super sticky

no my friend tried it, i forget what he said but it didnt work after a while...i went to my arena and grabbed old stuff out of the dumpster like some teflon stuff, it works alright except its like 14 pieces to fit my box with is about 15-20 feet long

my mountain used to have metal boxes a long time a go. they worked but something else would be way better

depends on the kind of metal too. Carbide edges and aluminum don't mix. Stainless and titanium would probably work alright, but it'd be expensive.

i did it, have them cut it to size and bend down the edges for you and put holes in it so you dont have screws and get a thicker size, myne is 2 by 16 feet and paid about 150 for everything, get a thicker size. Oh yeah it works perfect feels just the same as any plexi

yeh you should be fine...it isnt the prime material for it and i woudnt reccomend it...but def. possible to use it....just go faster...lol...and it will throw dirty sparks at night.
