i heard they have a new 3000 foot park, was it always? ive never been there before yet, i think im going this weekend, im also going to camelback on new years day, which ive already been to a few times, its pretty small but i guess its not bad, has anyone been to shawnee's new park? how is it and how are the trails compared to camelback?

last year there park was super hyped up, and giant let down, even for a contest park, i dunno ive talked wit theere park manager and he seems to have a good grasp but has no crew or anything soo.. its hit or miss id say and there pipe is a joke these days

quite possibly the crappiest park i drove an hour to hit. tiny ass tables, and a half pipe that is pretty much just a bowl you ski through, and the rails are 3 ft long

Last year there was no comparison, the scratch guy is correct the staff has their heart into it, I dunno how much they will able to pull off. Their billboards have the slogan "come up for air" .. Shameless pluggin another site, but you might consider clicking on the site in my signature and asking the same question. BTW - CB is our home mountain.

i ski at shawnee like 4 times a week, there park is pretty sweet this year, there pipe is at the top, not very good, then there are two jumps in a row, like 25 foot gaps, then theres a staircase box, incline mailbox, tabletop, flat box, flat rail, flat down box, wall (pretty small), cbox, flat down rail, down flat down rail, rainbow rail, and a flat-down rail.

All these go in order down the hill, the jumps are nice, a little icey, but that all mountains around here, the boxes are smooth cause they re-do threm and fix them every day. there is a guy who manages the park, i always see hgim fixing stuff.

thats just a little discription

i just got back from shawnee yesterday

i did my first 3's there

i think it seems like a pretty good place for beginners, theyre pipe looks shitty, but i dont do pipe anyway

i guess it depends how good you are, i learned a lot of new tricks at shawnee, 200 feet trails are not long enough for parks anyway
