anyone who hates on him is foolish, hes so fucking smooth. how can you hate on someone who wins gold in two different x games sports. hes better in the pipe than anyone else, judges have nothing to do with it....and tons of guys do lean airs on their first hits...
 
not even close. the last like 120 degrees was completely spun on the ground. watch the slow mo. i guess thats just something all snowboarders do though. kind of like the landing to olenicks whiskey flip.

he is hated because he gets extra points for being shaun white, not because of his snowboarding. He might be the best there is at the moment but there are so many comps he shouldnt have won but he still did.
 
I remember 3 years ago when Eddie Wall (I think) did a 1260 in the pipe and it was really just a 900 with a 180 before he left the wall and another one as soon as he landed. I'm glad to see nothing has changed.

I just wanna see Shawn White 1080 a skateboard.

shawn white def won that event. i hate all the hype and extra media attention but he threw the best cleanest run. if kass couldof landed that alley oop7 it could have been on

word. i am not much of a skateboarder anymore, but i have to say his style is so sick when it comes to skateboarding. brings something different to the sport.
 
Yeah, I've always liked Shawn's snowboarding influence in skating. Not just ½ πp but its noticable on rails and shit too.

He Blatantly spins at least the last 90 on the wall at the end, when you see it from the bottom of the pipe its obvious he didn't stomp it but its a sick run none the less.

but yeah i dunno again...hate all you want he does tricks just as techy as anyone and he does them smooth as fuck, yeah he gets a ton of hype but he is the best half pipe rider out there hands down. kids a fucking competetor. its the same as why people hate on t hall, just cause hes so good he gets too much attention...
 
he was better then anyone else buy a 96 seems high. it also just goes to show that skiers are pushing it harder in the pipe
