So I was looking through an older SBC Skier.. and I saw this dude starring in half of the pictures, where the hell is he now?
 
he sucks hes not even that good of a skier but he did fuck sarah burke which made her break up with belanger haha and he used to do kool 3s of cliffs

he was a good skier just not good enough to be in Msp movies anddeserve super pro status
 
Dude Shannon Schad was badass and Smiley was pretty dope too but Skogen was fucking SICK, if he hadn't had that motocross accident I think he'd still be big on the scene, he was throwing sick rodeos both ways way before people were thinking about unnatural shit.
 
Oh come on, Shannon was doing it all too. He might not have had the technical prowess as Skogen, but the guy ripped it in park, pipe and BC, and was one of the best all around skiers at the time. I idolized those huge japan's he could do, and he was the first and still only person I know who did a japan to tweaked mute in a halfpipe.

Plus, he was missing a finger.
 
Haha, shit, I completely forgot about the other old generation skier that's first and last names started with "s". Shane Szocs! Kinda weird how there were so many back then...
 
Szocs can frontflip just about anything you can get air off. Too bad he broke his leg and can't handle hardpack landings well anymore.

fair enough, he was a damned good all around skier and his huge japans were pretty sweet. I also liked his massive stalled out 3 mutes where he always looked right back at the camera and tweaked huge at 180. Plus like you said his finger was pretty gnarly.
 
i still think skogen sprang is really good. he's got some good style in the the backcountry and big mountain. that recovery he made was ridiculous
 
smiley is a supermodel ski star. He arranged the soundtrack to Happy Happy. He also rocked out in Global Storming for all you pre-skimovie kids.

he does commercials and can be seen smiling in many whistlerblackcomb ads.
