So 1st day of the season was yesterday.
and after about mid morning my leg hair was getting munched away from my boots.

so i shaved my shins
i hope it works
i look like a retard though. the front of my leg shaved and the back hairy
anyone else do this?

haha, luckily i dont have that problem after all the times i taped up my ankles

as long as you dont wear shorts nobody will notice either, luckily its winter time making it that much easier

Yea actually just did it tonight in the shower. Last year i just let them get pulled off and i had a nice bald spot, but i skied ten hours today and my shins were pretty fucked up. But yea it looks retardedd

why not just shave your whole leg? seams Kinda pointless to only shave the shins..

I just shave my legs all around up to my knee, no pulled hair and scrapes and cuts from biking heal faster and are easier to keep cleen..

pluss Its winter nobody notices..

am i the only one who ends up with no hair on the front of my shins after skiing for a bit anyways? I prefer to ski it off than shave it. I imagine shaving it would just make it get irritated if youre going to be rubbing that area on your boot when theres stubble and whatnot.

i just let it wear off. if you must resort to hair removal, id use nair, no stubble, which could potentially be annoying, and you will have to shave fairly often

I ski a shit load and the hair on my shin never goes away. And the only time its annoying is on the drive home when you feel the hair all permipressed to your leg.

I will be honest, last season I had my entire lower leg waxed. GF dared me to do it so I did and she paid for it too. It felt odd at first but the non munching of my boots on my hair made up for it.

You shouldnt get too much irritation if at all. You just want to make sure you shave often enough or nair it.
If you do get any irritation though, its likely that its dry, throw some lotion on and you should be good to go.

i never shave my shins, by the end of the skiing season all the hairs have been epilated by my boots...
you get used to it...(thick socks help)

just wear ski socks, hike em up past the top of your boot and your set.

or

you could keep shaving the front of your legs all winter, and then when it grows back in the spring, you will have super hairy shins and not-as hairy calves and that would be sweet.

seriously where did the idea come from that hair grows back twice as thick or that it grows back darker?

I shave because it is easier to keep cuts and shit clean, and never when I let it grow back out does it grow back thicker or darker.. the biggest thing is getting over the homo remarks but who gives a shit what people say? Most girls after they get over the shock of a guy with shaved legs actually think it looks fine and think its kinda cool that I am confident enough to tell all the haters to fuck off and still keep the legs smooth..

My friend went to norway last year for the winter and he said all the kids he skied with shaved their legs and had back protectors haha

my friend did this a few weeks ago just on one leg to see how it works. looks funny because his legs are mad hairy. but i guess it doesnt rip hair out.
