He takes the helicopter to the top of the runs and rides "all that fucking amazing terrain around him" to his private halfpipe. Shaun makes the most out of being alive....stop hating, Shaun's private halpipe is one of the sickest snow features ever built and will go down in history as being such!

some of you guys are clueless. Yes there is amazing terrain all around. Like other dude says, he probably rides that on the way to his pipe. Which is private so that he can perfect all his shit. Thats the perks of being a gold medalist in the olympics. You get redbull to build you your own pipe. Stop hating. I dont give 2 shits about shawn white, but the guy absolutly kills it. Have you ever watched him ride? he fuckin slays. end rant.

but either way, it just seems like a waste of money to me. is he too good to ski a regular pipe? is it really

going to make him that much better?
 
I may not like Shaun White but I respect his pipe skills. His segment in "The 'B' " (Burtons movie this year) was fucking off the hook. Double corks and double flips like it was nobody's job. He definitely made the most out of the chance to ride/train and film in this location.
 
I'm really surprised RED BULL didn't invite Dumont or some of their other big name pipe ski monkeys to shred that pipe, especailly considering how much i'm sure it cost to build.??

 
That would be the softest pipe ever. Like perfectly soft not like slushy soft. why is it private though? what about the other red bull riders? It seems like a waste to have a private pipe, I mean I would get lonely.
 
It's 'Lux Aeterna' by Clint Mansell. He has a lot of good pieces a long with this one, such as 'Death is the Road to Awe', which you'd probably like. Most of his stuff is in movies (the song in this video is in Requiem for a Dream).

Hey guys, there's all this nice powder, scenery, and mountains around me, but I'm going to go and have a half pipe built for my self because I'm super fly and go shred that up instead. Have fun on the groomers bros.
 
Shaun White is a competitive pipe rider. He has to train pipe. Why wouldn't red bull pull a ridiculous publicity stunt like that and make him a pipe? If he wanted to ride pow all day long he could certainly do it, and there are clearly days where he does do it, but he is a competitive pipe rider and needs to train.
Shaun white is better than you will ever be. No questions asked.
He did not steal the song. Whoever edited it stole the song. And it was not stolen from Rage. It was stolen from Requiem for a Dream. Who stole it from Clint Mansell.
If you got offered a big name contract with anyone that would pay huge money, wouldn't you take it? I would. Fuck selling out, I'd want to get paid.
Pipe is not a joke. Pipe is up there with the hardest competitive disciplines in skiing/snowboarding. It takes huge amounts of skill.
