It has to be. Look at the progression of the sport over the last 10-15 years. They were still scoring in the mid-high 90s back then too. Does that mean that progression reached a peak back then? White's gold medal run in 2012 would have scored a fucking 394.66 in 1998. The scores change to reflect progression in the sport. In no way does getting a 100 mean progression stops in the pipe. Next year that 100 could be an 89. NS needs some common sense. If I Pod had scored, say, an 86, and White was in first with an 88 with his current run, I seriously doubt that he would have gotten a 100 to win gold, but since he already had a 94, and second place had a 93, there's only so high you can go with the scores to show that he was truly THAT much better than any other rider, and put down that much better of a run. His run was NOT perfect, but it was clearly worthy of a 7 point difference to second, in my opinion.
