Shaun white wins olympic gold

the judges need to realize that throwing the same trick more than once should cause one to lose, not gain points. even if it is a really sick looking corked 1080 with a grab held throughout.
 
He deserved it guys....stop banging the system. Mason had good runs tho....i think it shoulda beat that finnish dude! and Annti Autti shoulda placed
 
yeah your right shaun white really must suck i mean he makes the olympic team wins a bunch of comps and is sponsored. the dude must be a total fag. Grow up peter pan, count chocula!! weve done a bunch of weddings and rocked em all
 
I liked how when he was interviewed he wanted to go hit on that skater chick, good for him. His PR for snowboarding, like interviews and such seem to go real well, I iwsh we had a skier like that
 
if they call him the flying tomato one more time i'm putting an ax through the tv. It's pretty obvious how much Shaun likes the wonderful nickname.
 
His run was better than everyone elses... he went bigger, landed cleaner, held his grabs longer.

That finnish guy's 1080 was pencilled with a very very late grab. Other's only did them like 3 or 4 feet out at the bottom.

Totally deserved it.
 
this is exactly the lame mainstream attention our sport doesn't need. Just imagine watching Tanner Hall on primetime network t.v. and hearing some know nothing say something totally lame like that. Not cool.

Anyway, I thought his win was great, and the way he handled himself afterword.
 
its annoyin to hear all of you complain about the olympics... first the x-games, now this. Totally different judges, totally different compatition and i think that shaun white deserved to win. He's amazing, no doubt about that, but because someone/something is extremely good at whatever it is there good about everyone always has to complain... i dont get it..
 
ya even tho they are sick, they arent original. shaun's freaking sick he deserved the win, but he's good enough to throw a different trick on each wall and the judging should be styled so that he is pushed to do excactly that. that way he is original and comes to competitions with something new every time. how do you think skiing and snowboarding have progressed so much in the past couple years? (being original)

I was never a huge Shaun fan but to see his face so full of emotion on the podium, i couldnt help but be happy for him. The Olympics are still the shit in my book, god bless the competition and its athletes.

i cant wait for a skier to throw btb 10's in the pipe. i think hatveit or laurent will have it next year. maybe not as huge or smooth as shaun, but we'll get there
