Shaun White Snowboarding preview

i iwsh i had my own video game. god that would be sweet. you get points for crocheting sweet things and getting good grades in school oh hell yeah super fun.
 
prob gunna be a pretty sick game if its somewhat like amped i mean sure its snowboarding but still some sort of snowsport
 
it looks to be an ok game, i like it that they favoring a realistic and mellow approach as opposed to a hard rocking, totally in your face "x-treme" adventure.
 
dude....that sounds AWESOME. 360 gaffiks, realistic snowboarding (pow factors in, physics are real)....oh man i think i'm going to need to buy 360 now. SKATE, this, halo 3....damn

From what I have been told, its amped with nicer graphics. So the same old crap really. Hope they decided to up the physics engine as well.

Can't wait to post an update for the skiing/boarding game.
 
amped w/ nicer graphics would be the tits...that exactly what i want...how do you improve on amped 2? AK, japan, ou can take your board off and hike, full mountain environment....i mean....it sounds amazing. with the amped 2 trick engine ....so sick
 
its based on cruising the mtn and realism...thats a fresh change from SSX's triple sow-cow 1800's.....

and its not even using the amped engine, its using Assassins Creed engine, so that means BIG levels. word!
 
there doing what i always dreamed of for a skiing game. multiplayer. you can create your own game mode, and invite friends. you and your friends can shred on a mountain together on x box live. and you dont have to go where they go you can do what your want meet back up etc. so sick. graphics look good, realistic. ill buy it. oh and theres gonna be park city in it so that will be crazy fun. hopefully unlike amped the mountains are similar to the real thing
 
Not gonna lie this definitely looks promising. I still love and play Amped 2 on the regs.
 
I got the Latest Xbox 360 Mag, 4 pages about this game, They dont even like snowboarding and they seemed to like it, this could be epic.
 
Still looked a bit ridiculous, but I'll support virtually any new snow sports video game. Just one step closer to getting a ski game.
 
its impossible!

the skate control design is based around how you do tricks on a skateboard, it wouldnt work for any other sports game.

but this looks pretty sweet.
 
I think a cool ski game would be if you could drive around gta style, and the seasons change. So you can shred in the winter all over, find urban, go to the hill, hike around, snowmobile, etc... but then in the summer you can skate, fruitboot, bike, bmx, orrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr go find snow, (have hockey rink snow??) find a good spot and. hit it. YOud have to have a mini game where you build a drop, and have to find snow and set up in a given amount of time.

I think that would be a neet idea.
 
Does anyone think theres much of a chance of a skiing version? Skiing is becoming increasingly competitive to snowboarding in terms of a following, and since they already have the majority of the work done, it couldn't be too difficult or expensive to change it around a bit to suit skiing physics could it? what do you think? Petition??? hahaha
 
Did you guys see the 17 minute interview on that site? Its pretty in depth. The play looks kind of clumsy but that could be just because the dude playing doesn't seem that good at the game. Controls seem wierd.

shawn white pwns really hard hes so cool! i bought his intire target clothing line and then ordered his new HP laptop so i could photoblog really hard!!!!!! now i have to get this for ps3 and 360, god i love shawn white. maybe i can buy the game at zoomzooms and hang out with the cool mall lurkers!
 
Dude i played the skate demo so much. I played it a couple times, ordered the game, and then just played the demo until the game came. Best demo ever.
