you can google it to see screen shots... but imagine the potetial for them to make a skiing game of this caliber....
 
my thoughts too. the trailers for the game makes it look so fake. jumping off a cliff, onto a building, then onto snow, while spinning one way, switching to the other direction, and doing flips, all at once...
 
after watching the videos ive realized how fake it looks, on flat ground they were pulling like 720s, totally tony hawk style
 
jebus that looks so tony hawk, the popping of cliffs and buildings is totally ridiculous, he's just going along and then suddenly shoots up 10 ft in the air with no body movement and does some ridiculous trick and grinds the roofline of a building, total bullshit
 
it's interesting that they used the assasin's creed engine to build this game for it's "open world" environment. maybe they could've used skate's physics engine while they were at it.
 
it is an interesting concept though, if someone could make a better version (with skiing) itd be a hell of a lot of fun
 
a skiing game would suck bcuz everyone would choose tom wallisch and rape all the other fuckers playing with you with 343434 switch ups on the same rail
 
i really hope sometime in the near future they come out with a game like that with skiers! With all of the major parks, urbans, and BC booters!
 
^ RIDE DRITY, we can only wait for that one day a developer will be like wow, this could be a gold mine. Imagine:

:Hell tiger woods has an engine to create a face structure. so why not have a ski template online you load into like easportsworld.com has set up for tiger woods 09 and load your graphic into the website under your account, then download it straight from the in game option. lots of cool things are to be had on these next-gen consoles.
 
im just thinkin like if you took SKATE, and used that engine, tweaked it for skiing... urban, jumps, all the realism that jibbin doesnt haeve
 
well i did some searching around and they used the assasin's creed engine for it's open world environment. I did not however, find out what they used for a physics engine. it wouldve been nice if they used a tweaked s.k.a.t.e. physics engine since it's the only game that displays life-like characteristics.
