I heard Tanner's Skis have a remote gliding system in it and that Armada's Tech Crew controls them with a remote control. I can't believe it, what a fucking rip off. I bet tanner doesn't even know how to ski properly and someone controls the skis for him. I always wondered how that kid could get so good at a young age, well now I know...

i'm pretty sure that tanner doesnt even move at all. i think the whole slopestyle course is on a big pivot and the Armada techs just rotate it to make it look like he's spinning in the air....

either that or tanner hall is realy nancy kerrigan. they probably drugged her up and convinced her that the skis are really ice skates. i dont see any other explanation for tanner winning the x games

i think SW is so good because, before all the older (well not really but 20's) guys had specialties, rails or jumps, or pipe. Shawn just goes to the mountain everyday and has fun. Thats why hes good at everything.

 
tanner has more skill than shawn on snow.

shawns using a little snowboard. tanner is using giant planks of anus.

 
I know why Tanner seems so good. he really isn't tanner. They stole Brian Boitano and put him on some Armadas that automatically ride the pipe for him and brian boitano does like triple backflips, haha.

i was in denial for a long time too, but jumps are a hell of a lot harder on a board. you cant correct yourself by changing stance. your not going off the jump straight so the first thing your body wants to do is go down ass 1st. etc.

The thing that makes SW so damn good is how smooth the guy is. While so many other guys look like shit all flailing around in the air, he just sucks his board up to his body, spins, then lands smooth and rides away like it's nothing.

 
As a point of contention, Jussi is a gazillion times smoother than SW, but he doesn't go as big. Anything Jussi does, there's not even a jiggle in the air or on the landing. SW had a few pretty sketchy landings. That he pulled 'em out is definitely a compliment to his skill, cuz once shit starts going wrong on a board, you really can't correct it as easily.

hes sponsore by volcome and gets to go the volcome factory and take everything he wants....he owns his OWN house...not his parents house..its HIS OWN! all he has to do i walk acroos the street to go surfing...he also a sponsored skateboarder and a damn good one at that...he rools it....there is better snowboarders...but hes young...and filthy rich

I thought Shawn White was around 20 yrs. old now. I heard his sponsors just put the age 16 on everything for publicity. I could be wrong, but he's been 15-16 for the last 5 yrs now atleast.
