For those of you up north here, NWS predictions are showing 30-40" at 5500-6500 feet.

...Hilariously, this is the prediction for the summit thursday night.

Snow. The snow could be heavy at times. Low around 16. Windy, with a south southwest wind 90 to 95 mph, with gusts as high as 115 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New snow accumulation of 37 to 43 inches possible.

suck on that hurricane Sandy...

Yeah. Snow levels were shitty at Shasta. Didn't get below about 6500/7000 ft. They predicted it to stay down around 4500-5500 instead. Weiners on a stick.

But, yeah, the top of the actual mountain peak probably got fucking slayed above 10000 ft. Avalance city. I be the old snow bowl is radtacular.

and in at least SOME good news, Mt. Ashland up on the border opens up Thursday dec 6. it snowed like 2 feet in a day or two at the base and upwards 3-4 feet up higher on the hill. Should be killer concrete!

Yo Sean, saw your text this morning (or yesterday morning?). I think the ski park is going to take a little longer, even with this new system coming in. Tried my knee out at Kirkwood opening weekend and it went so-so.

As soon as they are open I'm in it.

Looks like these systems coming in are going to lay some white carpet on the park this week. They should be open soon it look!

and reeder, we must shred this year for sure.
