Shannon was killed wednesday evening in a head on colision on her way back to whistler from Vancouver on hwy 99. there are not any more details at the moment. Shannon was a skier and member of Newschoolers. she was a friend of many and a Whistler local. she will be missed by all those who knew her....

Rest In Peace

Always hard to hear, RIP. What was her username? Man I hate to hear it when ppl die on sea to sky, since i myself go on that road fairly often and nothing has ever happened to me, it just scares me...

this is such heartbreaking news.

Shannon, my jacket twin, you will be sorely missed. us whistler ladies need to stick together... we'll be riding for you this winter my dear.

So, so sad. I never met Shannon, but from what I hear from friends, she was a beautiful, fun-loving person.

Rest in peace, Shannon.

That highway is awful - everyone please be careful.

This comes as very tragic news. I hope her family is coping with their loss. We will miss you on and off the hill Shannon...I still remember the first time you walked into Glacier Shop and bought your Fujatives...you will be missed by many...keep searching for that endless turn on that big mountian in the sky.

FOR THOSE OF YOU THAT KNEW SHANNON AND WOULD LIKE TO ATTEND THE SERVICE...IT WILL EITHER BE THIS COMING SATURDAY (15TH) OR THE FOLLOWING (22ND) AT THE HIGHSCHOOL IN PEMBERTON...THE EXACT DATE AND TIME SHOULD BE KNOWN AS OF MONDAY OR SO...HER FAMILY IS IN PRETTY GOOD SPIRITS CONSIDERING THE SITUATION...AND WOULD LIKE ME TO MAKE SURE HER SKI FRIENDS KNOW THEY ARE MORE THAN WELCOME TO CELEBRATE SHANNONS LIFE WITH THEM. I'LL POST THE EXACT TIME AND DAY WHEN I KNOW OR MY NUMBER IS 604 9058539

I was lucky to share many great days on the hill and many wicked nights on the town. The memories will live forever!!!

I love you shannon.

Im sprry to hear the bad news. Although I never knew her personally I can still say that I knew who she was and I hope all her close family and friends are doing ok in this time of morning. RIP SHANNON

Today would have been Shannon's 20th birthday. A bunch of us are going to the Crystal Lounge to have a few drinks around 9:30ish. Join us if you want!
