We are working on getting the Shanghai Six Movie Premiere at Blue Mountian to benefit the new Freeride Ski Program. This event will be a lot of fun and a great way to find out more about the program.

Please go to www.freeriders.itgo.com click on WHATS NEW and enter your vote on the movie idea. The event would happen around the beginning of October, so enter your vote now!

^upstate new york is a good 4 or 6 hours from us here in the lehigh valley so i dont think we will really draw away from your crowd

sweet chris, this could be huge too cause it can help fill the void that the freeze premier has left. I HATE TRANSWORLD!!!

I HATE SUMMER HOTNESS, ya cant ski!

York College and Roundtop next year, no more Blue.

yo miller, there's still an msp premiere this year, check their site...its not put on by freeze obviously, but there's still gonna be one in the pocono's....but the level one premier would be so tight

when i buck buck, you better duck duck!

Thanks for the support guys. The more people that get interested in this the more chance it will happen.

The movie is in HD by the way!

thats tight then that there will be 2 premiers!

sweet yo there is a tour stop in UVM thats right across the lake for me.

......because skiing needs a new hair cut

It is looking very good for this. The more votes we get on the site the closer we get to final approval. The date would be mid october.

It is looking more like October 30th for the movie date. I am in the process of getting sponsors to donate product to be given away at the movie. So far we have about $1000.00 worth of give aways!

Equipment is expensive, and i need lots of new stuff, i love being a poor college student!!!!

Here is the list of sponsors that have made a commitment so far:

Crash-pads

Booster Straps

Alpina Ski Shop

4frnt

Level 1 Productions

crash pads are my heros. those things kept me from killing my hips on rails so many times. one of the best $50 i ever spent.

i should prolly look into getting those so my ass isnt raw from rails all winter

UPDATE: Blue Mountain has passed on the oppurtunity to show the movie. We are contracting this week to have it at the Roxy in Northampton PA. Evething else is still the same so far!

how confident are you in this actually going to be happening? and where is roxy? i know where northampton is

We are going down on Wednesday night to make sure the layout is what we need. if so we will sign the contract... so right now we are at 90%.

it is on main street right by the intersection of rt 329, if you miss the neon signs you are blind

yea...if you take rt. 22 to airport road north, make a left on rt. 329, then make a left on main street and the roxy is on your right......or take 145 north and make a right onto 329, then make a right on main street

i cant wait to check this film out

There is not a age requirement for the movie. There will be no alcohol served at the event. The date is October 30th at 7pm. The cost will be between 10-20 depending on how many give-aways we can come up with. Right now we have stuff from Level 1, 4frnt, Booster, Crash-Pads, and Alpina ski shop.

OK, we are all set for October 30th, 7:00pm at the Roxy in Norhampton. This place is very cool and the sound system should rock! Ticket prices are $15.00 at the door or $10.00 in advance. Contact me and I will tell you how to purchase your tickets in advance.
