Shanghai Six in HD

Just spoke to Neil, and he said it will be up and running on Monday. He also said that if people keep on asking he'll make sure to take even longer.

what about that rail update that's coming very, very soon?

just joshing! (oooo joshing, get it..sorry)

yeah anyways i can't wait to see the stuff the l1p crew has been filming.

u know if u had the ded u could do that to, all you do is click on the dvd when its on your desktop find and copy the main avi file of the movie, to your desk top download a program called (mac the ripper) then rip the avi file to get the sound as an mp3 then put it into finalcut or imovie and exprot it to a ipod format. its that simple

Handbreak is a better solution..put the dvd in, do the settings you wish (for you ipod) and rip, takes about 30 minutes longer than the actual movie

it seems like some parts are sped up and in fast motion. but its still sick nonetheless and i cant wait to actually have time to watch the whole thing.

Its amazingly better than the dvd version... only problem is that the file is so big that it does little stops while playing. And I don't have quick pro so I can't view full window, but thats my problem...

same with me. i want full screen so bad. but its still sick i just have to ignore whatevers outside the window

There is no point in burning it to dvd if you purchased the dvd allready. And don't you have to do that to get the 720p version anyway? if you convert it to dvd format it goes down to 480p there are no hd players yet so unless your computer is hooked up to your tv with a component or similar connection forget about it

went faster than i thought i got a g5 with lots of ram (in not sure if that helps) and a super fast internet connection and it took about 30-45 min

took me about 4 hours on a wireless G5. i havent seen the dvd version, so im watching it in HD for the first time. very cool.
