Has any one ever seen shane szocs do any trick that involves backward motion. Such as a rodeo or even just a straight backflip.... also, he had the sickest segment in happy dayz. He has established himself enough that he does not just have to ski park and get noticed now. Skiing pow is life.

The only enemy agaist progression is FEAR!

he almost never does backflips and backwards motioned tricks, because when he was younger he landed on his head on a backflip, and just doesn't think it's worth it if he were to seriously hurt himself.

I think it's a really smart move.

 
ECKevin... i think you are mistaken. Szocs simplu doesn't like the backwards motion. He can kinda do em (i dunno) but he never does cuz its a psychological thing for him. Whatever, he is such a sick skier, with mad style and without him and mike d... skiing would not be where it is today.

seriously man his d-spin 7 in the game is super stylie. sure he generally skis pow more than anything now and throws smaller tricks than he used to but so what? He's paid his dues and worked hard why should he risk his aging body by throwing down in the icy park when he could be ripping heli-lines? He's made a huge contribution to skiing (as has mike D) and continues to do so every summer by teaching future generations of kids to throw down at a camp he created.

I believe in 'Global Storming' he does some backwards rotated tricks, could be wrong though. I think he's a super sick skier though, and for the lack of backflips and such he can sure put down a nice front flip! And yes, the pillow lines that he skis up in Whistler are incredible. He's definitely not an underdeveloped skier, if that's what you're getting at
