does anyone have a text version of what shane reads in one of his tributes? the teacher asks about what he would do if he knew he was going to die and he said he would go skiing and base jumping. then she asks what he'd do if he wasn't going to die and he says the same thing.

i'm using it for a school anthology on influential pieces of writing and that one nearly brings a tear to my eye and is about as heartwarming and spot on as anything and it comes from a 4th grader

RIP, i've been missing him a lot lately.

i watched that segment three times today, definetly missing him too. i cant find it anywhere, but if noone posts it by tmrw, i'll gladly transcribe it

used to be in the top rated vids?

idk i was looking for it the other day. threads if somebody knows where to find it

thanks so much man. never seen the first 2 minutes before, that was really nice. he really was pretty much the man, wasn't he.

Definitely. Just shows that the man knew what he wanted and chased his dream. So damn cool and inspiring

The first thing I’d do would be to find someone who could take me skydiving, then I would do that a couple of times. Then I would go to Europe to some huge mountain where I could go helicopter skiing in waist high powder. I’d also go cliff jumping off lots of huge 40ft cliffs and land in the nice soft powder. Then somewhere I’d get someone to teach me how to hand glide and I’d do that for a while. There are probably many other things I’d do, but right now I cant think of them and up to my death I would just keep doing fun things.

its sick that he just did what he wanted and he was happy. example of how to live right there. r.i.p shane.

I honestly miss Shane so much. I tear up every time i watch that. I only met him one time in Reno, NV when he base jumped off of a super high hotel, but he made such an impact on me. RIP. You'll never be forgotten.

when all is said and done, i don't think there are 10 people who have lived who i'd rather meet than him.
