YO yo yo.

what up everyone

just checkin to make sure everyone got there seymour passes this year--obviously this seasons gonnna be huge. big things happnin round there

and we all know its a mistake to get a grouse pass instead. at least get both---years of park failure at grouse , and years of fresh park at seymour shold be enough to convince even the most jaded skier

anyways. new rails. new jibs, new and improved park crew. new groomer. same ol killer vibe.

more jams and what not for skiers too

If they had a shuttle from like downtown I would defs buy a seymour pass it trumps cypress and grouse for sure it just the accessibility that's killing it I got a grouse pass this year so I could get up there as much as possible but next year I'm thinking seymour if it gets easier to get up there

You're saying that like it will make it harder.

dress up like a girl and show some leg. I'm sure some dirty old men will love your skinny, hairless legs.

yah alright if I lived on the north shore maybehitching from the vancouver westside's just not realistic I'd love to see you tryI'll be willing to bet if you do ever get up you'll either get raped on the way or take about a week Vancouverites are so un-hitchhiker-friendly these days

take the bus to the bottom of the hill! fuck.
if u live in van then get 210 from downtown to phibbs, then 211 seymour or c15 depending on the time. takes you to the bottom. if you live elsewhere skytrain to gilmore and get the 28 cap college or something along those lines to phibbs. take 211 or c15 again. its not that hard. and really doesn't take that long.
getting to the bottom of seymour is the same as grouse. the seabus is so fuckin slow anythign is better than it.

so now that we have cleared up that, get your bus passes out and get to seymour. from the bottom use your thumb, hitchiking is fast and easy.

Get to seymour. no excuse now.

^^^ yeah what pete said, 98 to the 211 to hitch hike and your getting dirty at the seymour. Did it last year a couple times even though I had a car. Riding in the back maintenence van full of landscaping equipments on those switchbacks just gets you more pumped to ride!

haha some day if i move more than 10 mins by bus and walking then i will switch to seymour as my main hill

fuck right off. i'm calling you out on this one because it's rediculous. you're the one who was just complaining about how hard it was to get to seymour and how sketchy hitch hiking is. shut up you gronk.

the fuck do have up your ass man, christ is no one allowed to voice their opinions anymore
I'm just saying its easier for ME to get to grouse as of now because it is generally closer by public transit, no hitchhiking involved and easier for parents to drive up there
I'm not saying seymour's a bad mountain lets be clear on that because you bitch at me as if you owned the shit
calm down bud, its MY opinion alright, so take that dick out of your ass and stick it in your mouth where it would do us all a favor

the problem with your opinion is that its completely wrong.
driving from downtown to the base of grouse is the exact same as the base of seymour. hitchin takes the same amount of time as the gondola up. so why not get your ride to seymour. so may as well go to seymour and hope your parents take you the extra 7 minutes and drive u up seymour.
now lets not consider the parents.bus to grouse, if your downtown im assuming your takin the seabus but fuck, it really doesn't matter how u get there. it takes, 40minutes to get to grouse.bussing to the bottom of seymour takes the same from downtown. cool. go to seymour
wait u really like the seabus and want to waste your time with it, then bus from there, slower. but they figured it all out. take the seymour shuttle bus the the sea bus and your at the top of the mtn.
bottom line. grouse really isn't much closer than seymour. your just a pussy who is afraid of using your thumb to get a ride instead of mom droppin you at the bottom and takin that gondola up and waiting in lift lines. enjoy grouse.. nort

fine whatever man, if its just me so be it I'm not trying to convince anyone
I hope this is just everyone being super grumpy due to lack of skiing otherwise there's so much hate on NS right now

what?
aaalright, so I just looked it up on translink and I guess I am wrong, (yeaha I'm sorry) the grouse trip is 1hr20min and the seymour is 1hr11min. from where I like which is around Cambie and 49th
It just seems like a longer trip I guess, Grouse just seems like its right thereI'll still go to grouse though cuz most of my friends ski and board there (not to mention the poutine and beaver tails) but for pow days and filming I'll come over and join you guys on C-hole. Kay?

wow, nice hate fest going on in here. I plan on riding all three North Shore Mountains this year-- they're all dope. Now if only this weather will start to improve...

yah so back to why seymours dope and enough bitchin

all the rails are painted and look super fresh, the new paint jobs are ridiculous! never seen anything like them

all the jibs will be in use this year even ones that sat on the side of the trail or in a box somewhere for the last couple years, and old broken rails have been fixed and improved.

new features have been ordered; new concepts for old features have been created

there are new lights going in on mystery, right by where the step over was last year and the mystery park will extend through the gullys this year---so way longer

lodge park layout will be different, way longer, and really dope

could get some snow next week and opening day is not far away

see ya soon

P

well jimmy try and make it to seymour a few days the. I plan on comming down to van for christmas so come ride seymour then! well all go, well shred grouse too...but mostly seymour. That goes for all you other grouse kids!! if u cant get to seymour at all cause its too out of the way thats cool ur missing out hard ( so get a pass next year) but in the meen time come to seymour at least a few times cause it does sound way better then grouse.

I'm sort of confused as to how one would get brain tumors from a wind turbine. As far as I can tell it's just an ecologically suspect venture.

I got a pass to grouse at the end of last season, so my days at seymour will be fewer... Stoked for whatever hills I can ride, it's still all skiing and having fun in the mountains. Though seymour's park looked a lot nicer than grouse's...

okso brain tumor may have been a slight exaggeration but i don't think its too far from the truth. people who live (ski?) near wind turbines experience debilitating headaches, crazy nosebleeds, ringing in the ears, etc. not to mention that many people find that their heartbeats adjust to and beat along with the pulse of the turbine. it's some serious shit.

yep, im gonna be making the trip to seymour more ofthen then i did last yaer. had a pass to both grouse, and seymour last year but only rode seymour a few times. was still worth it, though im pooor as fuckkkk, and wont be able to lay down the extra money for this season, ill be daypassin that shit.
