Big things changin around Seymour

Mystery Park has got a complete overhaul with a new cat driver building 2 big jumps with 4 different lips

The jumps are money, and look super clean

The new cat driver will be up Mondays and Tuesdays every week to keep shit tight

The bottom of Mystery (right under the first few towers) is being transformed into "the Beach" as we speak

bunch of ill jib features are goin in, including the wallride, the big dub kink, a new tire feature, and more

Lodge park is still on point

New features: include a step up to snow box

50' rail hittable from three sides

Flat box hittable from three places

Super steep downbar

Orange barrier stall

Slant rail

Barrel Bonk

+ all the old features that are in there still

Shits hype for real/// lodge park gettin an overhaul soon for the upcoming three slopestyles

Best park in BC fosho.

man that sound sooo legit. im coming up next week for sure. cat driver coming in monday and tuesdays? does that mean sundays the park will be haggard?

the shore is so good this year!
 
true, but he's the one who said it lol, why don't u buy a grouse pass? sooooo cheap and thats the best park on the shore even if people hate the truth
 
1) no the parkll be fine on sunday, theres still a cat in the park everyday

and park crew holds it down

2) HL park is the same every year. seymour is fresh every week

3) grouse sucks

4) the beach is poppin off today----8 new features in today. open in the next couple days

mystery jumps are sick, tons of flow in the lower rail park too, locals mtns are killin it this year!
 
u really need to get off grouse's dick and check out seymour. hate all ya want but its got grouse beat.
 
haha i have been totally civil in everything i have said, the only thing i said that you could even think of calling hate would be that whis is better then seymour and thats the truth. there has been so much hate towards grouse on here, so maybe read the thread before posting. i'm not even gonna talk about your first sentance cause its just dumb, my whole standpoint is not to hate other mountains to hype your own mountain.
 
dude the setup is sureal only thing is i just went up and the lips for the rails are lookin and feelin way trashy. any possibility of less urbany setups or is that goin into the loodge park

there perf man---thats how you gotta learn to hit rails. we dont make em ride on. no one wants em ride on. and big jumps are for whistler park/grouse park/cypress park

whist is beat--- its disney land and they have half the snow seymour does

plus weve been shreddin backcountry at seymour all season

and whist backcountry shredders aint even left the boundaries

get with the program

half the good shreds from whist are comin to seymour every week cuz they need there white fix

 
not asking for ride ons just a little less chewed up lips would be fantastic but i was riding at like 430 sunday so maybes it was just the time i went up. btw the park has nice flow and are you gonna set up the c-rails?
 
Please do not hype the locals over whistler. There is actually no

comparison. at all. I honestly skied really good pow for the last 2

weeks and was able to hit tons of stuff over 25 ft into deep, soft

snow. There were several zones this weekend where I got 1000ft of knee

deep, steep, features everywhere, not a track in sight. Not to mention

that you get 4000+ vert runs, instead of, um, 400ft vert runs.

Actually, on second thought, yah, the Locals are way better than

Whistler. Everybody stay down there and keep shreddin in the schity--

its way more fun.
 
I would deffy say it is preference. I grew up in whistler and for the 2 years i lived in north van i would 110% say that i liked seymour more. It is a sick mtn with lots of secrets an lil jibs. Super dynamic terrain. The only reason why i still don't visit daily is because i live to far away and only ski on weekends now. Seymour gets way to busy for me on weekends and I am an angry pussy around crowds, i just go home. fuck that shit.
Whistler has more, and easily arguable better terrain, however seymour has a culture. This is what makes it a sick mtn.
 
well said, it is all preference. just when i read "best park in bc" i think, "best park in bc" based on features. he should have said best park culture in bc..
