I just wanted to share this website with everyone that is interested in making their own clothing. They have all kinds of technical fabrics including polartec and goretex as well as kits for actually making everything of interest to anyone that skis.

I'm going to start making snowboarding outerwear. It won't keep you dry, it probably won't hold together but it'll be so hood you're guaranteed to be the coolest cat on the block
 
Thanks for the share I want to make some stuff for sure. Do you happen to know where to find some patterns?
 
Dude you have to check out all the shit on that website. They have kits to make pullovers and everything. You could buy 3l goretex and it would be water proof
 
Of the home page look under "patterns" there are other options to I believe. I didn't look through everything. I stopped on the link above because that was what I was interested in.
