Severe weather/Storm chasing

Ever since I was young I have been an absolute weather nut. With spring coming, that means severe weather not in the form of snow "should" follow along. Has anyone here ever did any storm chasing, and what have you ran into? If you haven't ever chased after everything; what severe weather experiences have you had?
