Setting sharpie (autographs) into kicks

So I have a couple of sick autographs on my nikes, but they're starting to fade a little bit. So, Im wondering if anyone knows of anything you can spray onto them or do some other tricky thing to them to set the sharpie into the leather?

maybe get some pray on adhesive..that would just kind of put a protective layer over the sharpie...

theyre not faded much at all as of now, i just dont want them to eventually fade to nothing ya know

You could spray clear coat over it. Or use a leather protectant (I think thats it)

Alot of custom shoe painters spray clear coat over it to keep it from getting damaged/smudged.
