Yoyo, so which one of the three is the ultimate backcountry ski...im looking for durability especially. Tried out the seth's and they were sic, but was wondering how the others matched up?

cheers

seths are sick. ak's are amazing, but they're considerably softer than the seth's. both skis are amazingly versatile and can be skied all over the mountain from groomers to park to backcountry. the jp's are great for pow but not nearly as versatile as the other two. my vote would be for the ak's.

yea if you ski straight deep pow and only big mountian.

My votes for the jp's, i skied a pair last season and liked them enough to order a pair of the 07's for my very own

The AKs are sick, so much float, though they like to turn a lot. They are a bit softer than the JPs. JPs love going fast and straight, although they aren't as stable as ANTs at speed. Seth's I haven't skied, but my brother has them and loves them. He skied the AKs and ANTs (but not JPs) They are more stable than the AKs at speed, and a more versitile all around ski. Compared to the JPs, I don't know, personal preference. The Seths are stiffer and like to turn a little more, the JPs softer and ski straighter.

If you have another pair of skis for park/all mountain, buy the AK's, if not, the Seths are some of the best all around skis, but I prefer the JPs. I just love going really fast and straight, and like a bit of a softer ski. I recommend demoing them though, because everyone is different. Also, don't forget to try Gotamas.

seths are good but i mean if you really want a ski that floats and is smooth as hell AK but the JPvsJulien is just sucha fun ski and floats and are mad flexible
