Seths on East Coast

So i'm thinking of buying some fatter skis, namely the seths, but i live on the east coast. I do occasionally come out west, but i will mostly be stuck back east. Am i completely kidding myself, or would i have fun on these skis wherever?

i have the bridge already, so the kung fujas would be a little redundant, i was looking for a loftier, softer ski. And i apologize for whoever was confused by this thread, but in my defense, there was no apostrophe "Seth's on the east coast" would mean he was on the east coast.

dude, im up in VT at sugarbush and my buddy has seths he git them htis year and loves them. they are so sick, and not so fat that its looks uselss for the east, but fat enough to be sick. you will love them on tjos pow days. groomers are good with them too.

sooooo many ppl at mrg have em. i have the 4frnt msp's which are pretty fat for the east coast but there stiff so there sick, they rip

i live on the east coast and seth's are my only ski. they are sick. i love the flex and mini rocker, they are great on groomers and in the crud and pow. i also really like them in the park.

DUDE the seths have a wierd sidecut.

if u wanna have to mount them where k2 recomends then yea but i rode a pair that were almost center and the rode like fucking shit

^im on MSPs on the east coast too. i LOVE them. my buddy has a pair of seths on the east coast. he LOVES them too. fatter skis are sick, even on groomers. do it dooder.

if your set on seths then you should get them

but they have a mini rocker on them, which wont really do anything for you
if you want a wider ski that will rip in park and on the mountain get the new line blends or some kung fujas
those are prob you best bet

what do you mean they ride like shit? can u expand on that? u are the only one i have heard that doesnt like them so i want to hear ur opinion

i rode them over the summer at whistler and they were sick skis... the mini rocker is so fun and they turn deecent for a fat ski. idk how tehy ride on ice but they were a tad heavy for park but watev i dont spend my whole day in teh park but personally i would get a ski that is a bit skinnier and more sidecut for carving and shit casue on the esat coast we really dont get much pow and when there is pow im sure u can deal with a ski like 85 or less or watev

but yea its a sick ski

but if i use it for park i dont want it mounted to far back so maybe its not the ski for me. am i right?

mine are mounted right near core center and they work great in the pow and park. i wouldnt mount them any further foward than core center because then you are working against the construction of the ski. if you mount them further back than core center then you are losing park performance and gaining powder performance. i found that core center is the happy medium and my seths shred everywhere.
