is there much of a difference between this years seths and last years? Like enough of a difference to warrant buying this years for like 300 more than last years.

i may be completely wrong on this but i think the only difference is a more durable top sheet for this years

the 07/08s have a "mini rocker." havent skied 'em yet, but from what others say, the difference in how they ski is minimal

yea the new ones have a mini rocker, I demo'ed a pair but I couldn't really notice the diff

Wait for it to snow and I will let you know how the 08's are

I hear the 08 is better in soft snow, where as the 07 holds an edge better because it has a more effective edge without the rocker. I made a post about this alittle while back, do a search for it. I have never skied a rockered ski, and am really amped to get some runs on these puppies. remember k2 skis are measured at contact points, so a 179 is a 183-4.

hahaa. i plan on having my ski setup ready to go starting in october, so as soon as some snow hits the ground ill head up to the mountains

IDENTICAL ski minus the mini rocker it makes HUGE difference in pow and soft snow but extremely minimal on the hardpack!

I just got my free K2 catalog today from the mail and for the Seth the new thing is the rocker and design. Not worth it.
