alright, well im lookin in to getting some new sticks ova the summer, and i was thinkin about getting the 07/08 k2 sv...i was wondering how they would handle in nc park and all mtn, they prolly will neva see more than 5inch of pow...do you think they would be to wide, i have the 05/06 PE right now and they rip, but i want somin new....also what would be lighter 05/06pe with look p12 binding or 07/08 sv with look p12 binding?

o and i would probably mount them at +5 +6 or +7.

I have a pair of them... I ski in maine and I love them... but I dont like them in the park... I've never hit a rail with them cause I have other skis for park skiing and I dont want to mess them up... but I hit jumps with them fairly often... you get used to the extra width no problem but like I prefer my park skis (05/06 scratch BC) over them. My SV are mounted at +5 which is nice if thats what you settle on.

the hills in nc arent big enough for those skis man. you want a lot of open area to let those babies loose.

such a fun ski, they plow on everything including rails. i've ridden them everywhere with no complaints. true center mount them bitches.

The SV's are kinda overkill for 80% of east coast riding, especially in NC, go for the public enemies or silencers

who cares, fat skis are all the rage. Just get some prophet 130's and ride them on the east. And they can definitely handle it too.

I've got a pair, and for what you are saying you'd be riding....stick with the PEs. The Seths WANT TO GO on hardpack. They rip. It'd be too much for a NC mountain.

If you're a big kid (like 6'+ and like 170+) you could pull it off, and mount them at core center, or +7.5

but why would you? i have this years seths and silencers, and the silencers are a much much better park ski. the tip on the seth is soft, which doesnt cater to switch landings on hard snow all that well. the silencers are much easier to throw around for tech rail tricks too. i love the seths, dont get me wrong, they just arent the best park ski, especially in north carolina. if it was out west where you get soft snow in the park, then maybe, but not on the east coast.

im sorry but youre retarded fat skis are the best to ride anywhre and they are only a 98 waist im researching cuz i want some next year and im thinking they are a percect east coast park/little powder ski

nah dude the first few days i ripped park on my seths i had a fucking blast. if you enjoy not hucking huge spins and just having fun youll love them. especially if you got a smaller pair of skis, whe you go back itll feel like nothing on your feet
